Caring for Your Walnut Wood Lamp

Keep It Dry

Walnut is a natural material and should be used indoors in a dry environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, high humidity, or standing water, as these conditions can cause the wood to swell, warp, or affect the finish.

Dust Regularly

Remove dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Regular dusting helps preserve the wood's natural appearance and prevents dirt from building up in carved details or joints.

Avoid Direct Sunlight

Extended exposure to direct sunlight can gradually alter the colour of natural walnut. Position your lamp away from strong, continuous sunlight to help maintain its rich, warm tones.

Use LED Bulbs

We recommend using only LED bulbs. LEDs produce minimal heat, making them ideal for wooden lamps while offering excellent energy efficiency and a long service life. Avoid incandescent or halogen bulbs, which generate considerably more heat.

Clean Gently

If necessary, wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry it immediately. Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or furniture polishes containing silicone or ammonia, as these may damage the protective finish.

Handle with Care

Although walnut is a durable hardwood, it can still be scratched or dented by sharp or heavy objects. Lift the lamp by its base rather than the electrical cord, and avoid dragging it across hard surfaces.
